DMV fees (estimate)

$290 is a safe placeholder. Your real fee depends on the car’s value, its weight and your county — look it up and type it in, and the total updates as you go.

Look up my DMV fees

Important: this estimate is only as good as the numbers you put in. If your tax rate or DMV fee differs, your actual out-the-door price will too. Pick your city above for the right rate, or check it at cdtfa.ca.gov, and look up your exact DMV fees at dmv.ca.gov.

At signing we pull the exact numbers from the state — what they charge is what you pay. No markup, no hidden fees.
